Tamworth History Group Trademark |
Founded in 2014, Tamworth History Group were formed when regular researchers in Tamworth Library were offered a meeting room. Within months this was soon attracting local speakers to inform and entertain.
Still primarily a research group, their work has included publication on Tamwoth town streets such as A Walk into Market Street, which looks at more than five centuries of the history of this iconic Tamworth thoroughfare. The group are continuing their investigations, with news on future talks and research projects to follow.
